In 2016 The Royal Mint struck a series of coins to mark the 150th anniversary of Beatrix Potter’s birth, honouring the gifted artist and author. The nation’s love for Beatrix and her little tales proved to be as strong as ever, inspiring us to create four new coin designs for 2017. This year’s collection features three new characters – Mr. Jeremy Fisher, Tom Kitten and Benjamin Bunny – and of course, the iconic Peter Rabbit.

The Beatrix Potter 2017 Collector Album is your latest chance to get involved in The Great British Coin Hunt. The circulating coins featuring the four Beatrix Potter characters for 2017 will be released throughout the year. Check your change, empty your coin jars, look out for all four designs and put them in your new album as you go. You can swap coins and share collecting tips on social media using #coinhunt.
