A. A. Milne’s classic storybooks, featuring the charming illustrations of E. H. Shepard, have captured so many imaginations over the years and now they’re being brought to life in a new way for an exciting coin series. Bravely following Pooh and Christopher Robin on their adventure, Piglet is the last to appear on a coin in the 2020 series.

Captured in full colour – which is normally reserved for our silver Proof coins – Piglet is holding a huge dandelion almost as big as he is, while a busy bee buzzes nearby.

This is the first time Piglet has featured on a UK coin struck by The Royal Mint and just 45,000 Brilliant Uncirculated colour-printed coins are available. This edition of the coin is exclusive to The Royal Mint and each one comes in a specially created pop-up booklet, taking you on a nostalgic trip to the Hundred Acre Wood.
