The Royal Mint was delighted to be the first overseas mint to attend the MetalVerse conference in Wrocław, Poland earlier this month.

Sales of The Royal Mint’s products in Poland have grown substantially over the last few years, with The Royal Mint receiving particularly positive feedback about the 4 market-leading security features present on Britannia coins.

In addition to growing sales of bars and coins, Poland has also become an important market for other products from The Royal Mint. The Royal Mint Responsibly Sourced Physical Gold ETC launched on the Warsaw stock exchange at the end of August this year – a landmark event given it is both the first physically backed gold product on the Polish exchange, and the first ever Exchange Traded Commodity to list in Poland. Polish investors can find The Royal Mint’s ETC under the ticker ETCGLDRMAU and are able to purchase the product in Polish Złoty.

The Royal Mint’s attendance at MetalVerse was facilitated by Tavex, a key distribution partner for The Royal Mint’s bullion products in central, eastern and northern Europe. As well as having a stand where investors could speak directly with staff from The Royal Mint about our products, our history and the precious metals markets, attendees could attend a presentation to learn more about The Royal Mint and the impact of record gold prices on investors.

Ali Morrill, The Royal Mint’s Business Development Manager responsible for sales in the UK and Europe said, “It was our absolute pleasure to attend MetalVerse alongside our partner Tavex.  MetalVerse is the very first bullion event we have attended in Poland, and I am sure will be the start of many more to come in the future.  It really was a fantastic opportunity to meet our Polish customers and to showcase the fascinating history of The Royal Mint and our range of bullion products.”

Stuart O’Reilly, The Royal Mint’s Market Insight Manager commented, “It was great to meet so many precious metals investors in person and really get to know their thoughts about The Royal Mint’s products, and their needs as investors and collectors. The conference itself had a really refreshing and invigorating atmosphere and it was encouraging to see so many families in attendance.”
