About the Author

Heather Mead is a copywriter, editor and literary consultant based in South Wales. She joined The Royal Mint’s copy team as a Junior Copywriter in 2022 having studied English Literature at Cardiff University.

Championing budding writers, designers and businesses, Heather has worked with emerging poets, luxury fashion brands and kitchen-table companies, as well as charitable organisations providing support overseas and in rural areas of Britain.

Heather studied for a BA Hons in English Literature and Writing from Cardiff University where she developed an interest in historical, cultural and subversive literature. Drawing from these interests Heather is developing a collection of short-form literature that centres on the act of writing and the human condition.
