William Shakespeare remains one of the greatest writers of all time, and it is fitting that three £2 coins mark the 400th anniversary of his death. They feature a series of designs by seasoned coinage artist, John Bergdahl, celebrating Shakespeare's most famous works. This double-thickness Piedfort coin represents the histories, such as the 'Richard' plays, which inspire the accompanying booklet, created with the help of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust.
