The Royal Mail’s newly issued End of the Second World War Silver Proof £5 Coin presented in a protective capsule and paired with Royal Mail’s Miniature Sheet.
The Royal Mint’s newly released coin has been struck using specially polished dies for a flawless ‘Proof’ finish with the mirrored and frosted relief detail favoured by coin collectors.
The Miniature Sheet is postmarked with a special and exclusive peace-themed handstamp commemorating the 75th anniversary of VJ Day.
Its four stamps feature memorials in Jerusalem and Rangoon, as well as Runnymede and Plymouth in the UK, alongside the collection’s title in stone carved lettering.
Inside this beautifully illustrated collectible are articles compiled by the Commonwealth Graves Commission exploring the significance of the memorials.
A limited edition of just 750.
