Having first appeared on a coin celebrating the last ‘round pound’ in 2016, the design has been updated for this bullion release. Gregory Cameron’s design divides the circular coin table into four sections, with the heraldic animals inhabiting each one and defending the Tudor crown at the centre – updated from St Edward’s Crown to reflect the change in monarch. Struck as a quarter-ounce gold coin and a two-ounce silver coin, this range presents an opportunity to make a first investment in bullion.
