Terms & Conditions

1. The promoter of this prize draw is The Royal Mint Limited of Llantrisant, Pontyclun, United Kingdom CF72 8YT (The Royal Mint).
2. Any promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social media platform used by The Royal Mint as part of the promotion.
3. Each monthly prize draw opens at 08.00 hrs GMT on the first working day of every month and closes at 23.59 hrs GMT on the last working day of every month. Any entries received before the opening or after the closing dates/times will not be included and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. One winner will be selected at random per month by gathering all eligible entries from our Silver Stackers Monthly Competition Entry page and using our automatic computer number generator which will pick a winner at random. Where possible the draw will take place within 48 hours of the prize draw closing. Winners will be notified via the email address they provided that was used to enter.
5. The winner will receive a specified prize from The Royal Mint. The prizes are as follows:
   • July 2022: 2022 Royal Arms Silver 1oz Coin
   • August 2022: Three Graces 10oz Bar
   • September 2022: TBC
   • October 2022: TBC
   • November 2022: TBC
   • December 2022: TBC
   • January 2023: TBC

9. Once the winner has been notified, they will have two weeks to respond to claim their prize and confirm their address for delivery. If the winner fails to claim their prize, or chooses not to claim it, the prize will be forfeited, and a new winner drawn.
10. The winner may be asked to participate in any related publicity to the prize and/or asked to write a review of the prize.
11. To enter this prize draw, you must:
    1. Sign up to the competition via our Silver Stackers Monthly Competition Entry section on our Silver Stackers web page.
    2. Upload a photo of your own silver stack on the Entry section, alongside providing the following details- Name, Email Address, Contact Number (optional) and Tell us About your Silver Stack.
12. Photos must be the entrants' own work, must not be copied from someone else and must not contain any third-party materials and/or content that you do not have permission to use. Entrants warrant that they own the copyright in the photos. If another person has assisted in preparing their photo, they warrant that they have received an assignment of all associated intellectual property rights from that person. We may ask to see evidence of that assignment at any time.
13. Entrants hereby grant The Royal Mint Limited a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt and publish their photo in electronic format or hard copy and for purposes connected with the competition, and to adapt the photo to enable such publication (including to edit it for such purposes), and entrants hereby irrevocably waive, for the benefit of The Royal Mint Limited, all moral rights in the photo to which the entrant maybe entitled. Copyright for all photos submitted, including the winning photo, will become the property of the Crown, Her Majesty’s Treasury and/or The Royal Mint Limited, and by entering the competition all participants agree to assign all copyright in any photo submitted to The Royal Mint Limited. 
14. The prize draw is only open to residents of the United Kingdom.
15. You must be 18 years of age or older to be entered into the prize draw.
16. Only one entry per household in respect of the prize draw will be accepted.
17. There is no cash alternative, and the prize is non-refundable, non-negotiable, and non-transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any offer.
18. The prize will be dispatched to the winner by post by the end of the following month.
19. The prize is supplied by The Royal Mint.
20. The Royal Mint reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond The Royal Mint's control makes it necessary to do so.
21. This prize draw is not open to employees of The Royal Mint or their immediate family.
22. Prize draw entry is not conditional to consenting to marketing.
23. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when they are entered into the prize draw.
24. All decisions made by The Royal Mint relating to this prize draw are final and binding.
25. Under no circumstances will The Royal Mint be responsible for any loss, damages, costs or expenses arising from or in any way connected with any errors, defects, interruptions, malfunctions or delays in the promotion of the prize draw or acceptance of the prize.
26. The Royal Mint will not be responsible, unless required by law, for any loss, changes, costs or expenses which may arise in connection with this prize draw.
27. The Royal Mint can cancel or alter the prize draw at any stage.
28. The information submitted in the prize draw entry are for the following purposes: to enter the prize draw; so that we can contact you to inform you of the outcome of the prize draw; so that we can contact you regarding any publicity requests; so that we may reach you via social media platforms; and as a method of contact for any related or future promotions if you choose to opt into marketing communications.
29. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in The Royal Mint’s Privacy Policy.
30. The prize draw will be governed by English and Welsh law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
