These 500g and 1kg cast bars are produced on-site at The Royal Mint and feature a new design as well as a unique serial number. This new style of bar will replace the former RMR design to become The Royal Mint's core cast bar range. As the serial numbers run in order of production, customers who purchase a first strike will essentially take possession of a bar that represents a unique moment in the history of The Royal Mint. Serial numbers 1-20 are considered First Strikes and these will be presented in a beautiful wooden case for safekeeping and sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
