Struck to Brilliant Uncirculated standard, this UK 50p coin captures the steppe mammoth, one of the largest mammals to roam the Earth during the Ice Age. The predecessor to the woolly mammoth, this mighty giant had an average shoulder height of 4 metres and weighed around 10 tonnes. The reverse design features a scientifically accurate depiction of the steppe mammoth, designed by palaeo-artist Robert Nicholls. This coin and packaging have been created in collaboration with the Natural History Museum and expert guidance from palaeobiologist Professor Adrian Lister.
Delivery and Returns
In-stock items are despatched within 21 working days. If the product you would like to order is not in stock, we will endeavour to deliver your goods within 21 days of acceptance of your order. If we are unable to deliver your order within 21 days, you will be offered substitute goods if available and/or revised delivery date. At your option, you may accept the substitute goods or the revised delivery date. Alternatively, you may cancel your order in which case a full refund for the goods will be provided.
Delivery charges are determined by the delivery address of the customer. The following delivery charges apply to all UK orders:
- Order value £20 or under (Standard Delivery) - £3.00
- Order value £20.01 -£250 (Recorded Delivery) - £5.00
- Order value over £250 (Special Delivery) - £9.00
For international orders, the following charges apply to orders:
