Your Chance to win Military Themed Prizes

Your Chance to win Military Themed Prizes

During the Second World War, people of Britain and the Commonwealth fought valiantly against the opposing forces of the Axis powers. The six-year struggle saw ordinary people thrust into a world at war, with everyday citizens fighting side by side with existing military personnel.

The Second World War concluded in 1945, which makes 2025 the 80th anniversary of the end of the global conflict. In commemoration of those who contributed to the war effort both on the home front and overseas, we pay tribute to their indomitable spirit with a UK coin dedicated to their incredible stories.

As we honour those that served, we are giving away a Stories of the Second World War 2025 UK 50p Silver Proof Coin to one lucky winner. In addition, we will also be giving away two tickets to visit the Imperial War Museum Duxford where, you’ll discover iconic aircraft, see historic objects from IWM’s collections and uncover hundreds of personal stories of the many lives impacted by conflict.

Alternatively, we will also be offering two tickets to IWM’s famed Churchill War Rooms in Whitehall where you will be able to delve into the past and explore the former Prime Minister’s secret underground headquarters, providing a unique glimpse at what life would have been like for those living and working underground during the Second World War.
