As well as being a notable scientist, Sir Isaac Newton served as the Master of The Royal Mint from 1699 until his death in 1727. This bronze medal is year-dated 1727 and is in Extremely Fine condition. The obverse of the medal features a draped bust of Sir Isaac Newton.
